Carter-Vickers is not the only player attracting attention, however, with a new report from TEAMtalk revealing Celtic are also at risk of losing Daizen Maeda, as a number of European sides are now considering moves ahead of the summer transfer window.
A major reason the winger is in high demand is his pressing ability, with unnamed clubs from Germany and Italy keeping tabs ahead of a potential swoop at the end of the campaign.
The Hoops are keen to tie the Japan international down to a new contract to make sure they receive his full value this summer, should they be forced to cash-in, although he is unlikely to push for a move away from Parkhead. That said, the report hints Maeda could be open to a departure, given that he has intentions of playing at the highest possible level.
